Hi Aat, welcome back from what sounds like an awesome trip

We were in the Park for a few days last month and saw a couple of guys with fair sized tusks but I'm not sure if they are big enough to be considered as Tuskers.

Both seen on the S28.

Hi BluTuna,
time flies...been more than a year we met. I think the bulls on your pictures are no tuskers yet. I know it's not always easy looking at pictures and estimate the tusks. I know their many with promising tusks.

Also an update for Muliluane (died in 2007) but received pictures of him made in 2007 (thanks Arno !)

Thanks Mike and great you found this thread again.... Big Tusker MAC inspired me to create and maintain the tusker website , sadly he passed away in 2013. I think MAC left most valuable information ever by an elephant bull about many aspects of how they live , move etc etc... So I will keep on doing this as long it is possible for me, that's a promise

I've removed some of the posts on this thread and edited another.

The Mods need to have a chat with Aat over his ideas over the awards/rewards and how he envisions it working.

Tuskermites...
I am sorry that my idea about some simple award / reward is removed from the thread. Just a way to promote the search for Big Tuskers a little bit more and the award / reward was something like a nice poster of one of the Big Tuskers. It's not allowed by the moderators so I have to respect that.

I hope you will have a great 2014 too Aat.
I went through your tusker website once again with all the updates and it's getting more and more an impressive kind of document about the tuskers. Please continue doing this.

BTSK,
Thanks and no doubt I will continue. Building up history per tusker, find new ones and follow them over the years is and was one of the purposes to start this tusker site. Many tuskermites send their pictures directly to me for ID an or for updating the tusker site, that's why I inform you here about updates.
