Hi i think this is a cane rat it is about the size of a domestic cat with a tail about 30cm seen in berg n Dal outside hut 14 it seems to live there as I saw it 2 nights in a row

This one was clearly a resident outside hut 14 at Berg n Dal I saw it every evening as it was getting dark coming out onto the lawns.

Hello, i'm new here, so forgive my ignorance on the antelope identification front.

I'm sure this will be an easy one for you guys, but it's really been bugging me for a month now. Spotted last month in KTP behind the toilets at Melkvlei. It looked too big to be a steenbok, but how it is in the photo is the best sight I got of it. At the time I thought 'impala', but that's not likely. A hunter friend of mine thought it could be a small kudu?

You'd really put my mind at rest...
