I have been re-reading some Trip Reports and came across some information on Bat Research that the author was involved in. I thought I'd link to it from here

I wonder if any of these new discoveries will overlap into KNP?

Location: Looking for Bats...
Penny- Rhinolophus smithersi (Smithers's Horseshoe Bat) has been recorded from Pafuri and its range is expected to expand further south into the savanna biomes but this is subject to further collections. The there is also Rhinolophus cohenae (Cohen's Horseshoe Bat) which has been recorded from various localities in Nelspruit areas in close proximity, thus its range could expand into Kruger but this has yet to be confirmed as far as i know.

So in conclusion, 2 of these 4 new species can/should be found in Kruger
