Kgalagadi , 12 august between Twee Rivieren and Kieliekrankie, we saw a group of Springbok and I saw a female laying separated from the herd. Than is notist that there was something going on. Something black was moving and immediately I new that de Springbok was giving birth. I filmed the hole thing from the beginning till the end. It was an unique experience that we never shell forget. Look at the video.

This is also an amazing moment, the battle of the Springbok in Kgalagadi. The fight is fast and hard. look at the video.

Sprinbok was sighted 1 TIME today at NOSSOB

Pffft! A bit underrated animal! The last post here is from over 3 years ago!

So let me add a very, very young one, learning its steps, and drinking.

We were only now told how special this sighting actually was.

We saw Springbok twins.

We carefully scanned the entire series of pics to confirm what we noticed at the time - only one Springbokkie tended to both babies. Both drank from her and when she shooed them away from the road, they only followed her. No other Springbok paid any attention to either of them.

Guinea Pig from what I have read Springbok twins are very rare.
Read of a study done at Pretoria Zoo once and among 148 births only two twins occurred.

I liked this pic in the series and posted it on Facebook and immediately got a reaction from somebody who knows more about it than I do. We didn't realize it was that rare!
