Pumbaa the best area I think to spot reedbucks are around letaba. To be specific go on the tropic of Capricorn loop.

On our last trip we saw 8 Reedbucks: a couple near Phabeni gate, a couple at the S11, 2 females around 10km north of Satara and then 4 (3 males, 1 female) 5 minutes later :D
Here are more pics of the 4, one of the adult males looked much healthier than the other one!

I always thought that the Capricorn Loop was near Mopani :hmz:

Was lucky with Reedbuck last trip, seen them close to Satara (near main road to Olifants), along the H10 halfway between Lower Sabie and Tshokwane, along S41 and S90 , close to Bangu waterhole.
I am sure they will appear in one of the stories in my TR :) :)

It is easy to get to from both camps. Bur I agree it is closer to mopani but I was staying at letaba at the time. And I've seen a few around letaba.

Aat, there is indeed reedbuck that hangs around a few kilometres from Satara on the Olifants road. :thumbs_up:

OWN and Aat . Indeed they seem to be hanging around there on Olifants road all the time . Seen in late afternoon September 2010 - a male and three or four females .

On our recent trip to KNP in December 2010 we saw 4 Reedbuck:
No Reedbuck at the Nshawu waterholes… a first for us!!

H1-4 Just North of Satara (@Aat might be from the same family …)

Although not SanParks still a South African Park. This Reedbuck was seen in the Cape Vidal part of iSimangaliso Wetland Park, KZN, August 2011. A wet and very windy day.
