In November 2012 we stayed at Letaba and i visited the Elephant hall. I spoke to the young lady who works at the hall (sorry i did not get her name) and asked her about Dukes display. She said planes are in progress to reorganise the hall and Dukes tuskes will be displayed with a wall-mount without the skull and this will only happen in TWO years time.

I watched the old re-runs of "Voetspore van die Grotes" (Afrikaans travel program circa 2000) and in the Kruger section the episode ends with the presenter stating that every now and then you come accross something special that makes your trip worthwhile...and then the camera pans to Duke.

He was truly a legend.

Any news on a special display for this old timer?
