At the tip of a lions tail, below the black hair is a sharp claw. The bones within the tail at the end grows together to form this claw...

Hi

On the 17th December we found 3 big male lions and 1 lioness at the S28/H4-2 intersection on the Lower Sabie side. We also saw them again on the 20th at the same place. Would these lions be part of the Duke pride. I saw the Duke pride on a kill in October at Duke's waterhole and then there was only one male. In May I also saw the Duke pride at the intersection on the S28 where you turn off to Duke's windmill and then there were 2 males. Would these males that we saw on the 17th and 20th December be part of the Duke pride?

Well, was the one male you saw at the waterhole also one of the three you saw at the intersection? That should answer your question.

I don't see how anybody else can.
