lately night drives have been a little quiet but this morning Patrcik my colleague saw a cheetah at fairfield.

Hi Ras,

I drove passed Talamati yesterday in search of Sable, but at least spotted some rare sightings according to me. Saw two honeybadgers waving through the long grass on the S145 near Fairfield and two side-stripped jackal between the turn off to Imbali and the S36.

We also spotted 4 lion cubs on the S36 near the S125 turnoff. We sat there for nearly two hours waiting for their moms to return and gave up around 8:30 am. I hope you will find them again and can give feedback on the cubs. They were well taught to stay at that spot waiting for mom to return. At one points something scared them and they wanted to run off, but returned again to the same spot.
