I'm a field guide at Talamati and I will be posting sightings from the bush camp with the aim of providing an insight about this precious little area.
gotcha say that elephants by the waterhole in front of the camp are a STANDARD!!!

this morning we did wake up to the mighty roar of the african lion. they must be tucked in some bushes close-by.

yesterday i went to assist at Orpen with morning walk and bingo, a male leopard walks right in front of me. just a couple of hundred metres from talamati entrance. unfortunately i was the only witness

later on on the sunset drive we saw two lions and yes i had witnesses.. maybe you may want to be one of those witnesses next time, just don't forget to bring your luck.

Those lucky sightings are always the best, but are much better when shared with others.
