I'm sure that most of you are fascinated of the wonderful sunrises and sunsets that Africa and especially Kruger offers to us. I would like to know if you have any favourite spots in Kruger where you go to watch these magic moments, as I have decided to watch them more intensively during my next trip. It doesn't matter if it's in a camp or outside of it.
I guess that many of you enjoy to go to sunset dam for the sunset and I know that it's a great place. But my favourite place is Shitlave, also because normally you don't have so many people there. For the sunrise I want to check out the lookout point in Olifants camp in November, but I'm sure there are also many other places that I didn't think of so far. Waiting for your suggestions

Flying Cheetah in our experience the sunrises and sunsets from Olifants Camp (if you stay in the units overlooking the river, or the look out point as you mentioned) are just great, in fact number one. Satara also have amazing sunrises and sunsets and third spot to us is sunrise seen from Orpen Camp. It is actually very nice to sit on our Orpen Stoep drinking coffee even before day break and experience the veldt coming to life :D

If you want to capture a sunrise on photo, the S90 NE of Satara is brilliant!
It is flat and you can see for Miles! Good for capturing the low sunrise 8)

Mellville Guest House or the Deck at Letaba.
I could sit there every single sunset.

Sunrise over Satara.

Although some of my best sunrise memories are from the hide at Talamati. On many occasions spent a few mornings just watching the game coming for a morning drink while the sun comes up.
