Hi Len,

We were there 3 weeks ago, and saw amazing stuff. Honey badger, lion, some of the biggest spotted hyenas I've ever seen, wild dog, leopard, elephant, buffalo, giant african land snails, wonderful bird life .... and all that in literally 2 days ...

Turn left out of Skuks. Right on the H4-1 to Nkuhlu and LS. Not always productive, but a pretty drive. Right time, right place, mate.

This road is generally rewarding though if you can put up with what looks like a large traffic accident every so often and the volume of vehicles. I'm a northerner, but the south has it's good points.

If you're going to be in Satara, most people rave about the S100. Try the S33 ....

The H4-1 was a great drive this past December
Particularly the Lower Sabie end.

I did the S30 Salitjie road/S128 to LS and then back to Skukuza on the H4-1

Saw the big 5 on this route, plus plenty of general game.

That is a great road. From LS the S28 and S29 are great as well.
