Last night we had a lovely drive, 2 leopards were spotted by Oupa from Malelane, I also had 2 lions sightings on the berg en dal tar, Oupa also had herd of buffaloes, hippos , white rhinos, elephants and impalas, I also had honey badger.

To all forumites have a lovely Christmas and prosperous 2013.

I did a morning drive, I had 2 lionesses after Biyamiti Weir, I also had wild dogs, water bucks, giraffes, impalas, hyena, white rhino, breeding herd of elephants and herd of buffaloes.

What are current conditions like in the B & D Area?
Very tall grass?
Thick bush?

What are the best roads to take in the area?

I will be staying at B & D for 5 days from Sunday. :dance:

Hope those come out?

The conditions are really good after lots of rain, grass is tall and the bush is quite thick. All the roads around BeD offered good sightings while we were there!

Right, I see the maps are now loaded! I had the size too big!

We had great luck in the evenings taking the Matjulu road back to camp, had two lepoard sightings and the badger on that road. From Afsaal we also had great viewing returning on the H2-2 and then onto the S118 that runs next to the Mlambane river...

Leopard sighting is good at the moment , a male Leopard was spotted on the night on the malelane camp turn off, a lioness was also found with a zebra carcass on the Timfenene loop also on the sunset drive, around 17h30 2 male lions were 500 meters from the berg en dal camp gate, a honey badger was also spotted on the sun set drives as well.

Lions and Leopards activities at berg en dal at the moment is good, last night both lions and leopard were spotted on our sunset drives, this morning I had a Leopard 100 meters from the s114 turn off heading west, it was a female that looks like it have cubs around the area, I also had the Lukimbi pride after Gardenia hide.
