I would also like to say thanx to Shadowdog for posting a "Good Morning Africa" webcam shot most, if not every morning! :D

Strangely enough I cast my first vote for a kudu award last month

It was for Wtm and the reason - his coolnes under fire and sense of humour. So there you go - much as you don't want it this was a complement from before the thread was created. Just accept that you are our most favorite person to insult so every now and again we have to show a nice side.

Oddly, the amount of kudu nominations has not risen at all, even though this topic is here?
If you have one (or more) just PM any of the moderators...

The idea was not to get a rise in Kudu nominations. IMHO the Kudu awards on the forum is a joke, but I will leave it at that.

The idea is to let certain people know that their effort is appreciated as it is not always transparent and to compliment them on that, as the heading of the topic states. I've actually overlooked quite a few and will add their names here soon enough.

For what it is worth, I added the Kudu nomination as an after thought really. The Kudu award does not reflect someone's true contribution in a way.

I would like to complement and thank Wildheart, Imberbe and the mod team about the way the complaint is being dealt with.
Wildheart, you are setting a sterling example! Thanx!

Whilst the Mods feel it is wonderful for forumites to give praise and compliments to other forumites, we can not accept the nominations for Kudu's unless they are sent via a PM to one of the Mods as per the guidelines stated here. If you wish to give praise and compliment other forumites please feel free to do so in the Compliments Forum. This will NOT be taken, by the Mods, as a nomination for a Kudu though. Please therefore if anyone has nominated forumites publicly for a Kudu would they please send a PM to any of the Mods.
