We are arriving at BnD in few weeks for 2 weeks holiday in Kruger.
Is it possible to purchase a wildcard there and then when you check in to the camp?
Will it save us the hassle if I buy one on line nearer the time and show the proof of purchase at the gate?
Thank you very much.

Yes you can buy a wild card on arrival.
Enjoy your holiday, hope you see lots and lots of lovely sightings :gflower:

Our wildcard will also need to be updated again. Our next visit will be to Marakele in Oct. Can one update the wildcard at Marakele's reception, or is it better to do it online...?

I think the best option is renewing online but, PNF renewed theirs at Marakele, Bushbuddies and tent dweller did theirs over the phone.

Thanks Matthys!

I'm also wondering if I shouldn't renew telephonically... The whole of our previous membership, we never received the wild magazine. Tried to correct it via e-mail and updating our details - nothing helped. Let's try phoning them this time...

Thank you very much.

I would suggest that you buy your Wildcard on line about a week before you leave. That way, you will have your confirmation letter and all your details will already be in the system. If you buy it after you arrive, you will only have a small slip (easily lost) as proof of purchase AND you will still have to go on line to add your details. IMO far easier to do beforehand!
