OK, so I'm blonde.

Unread postby Meandering Mouse » Wed May 16, 2012 7:47 am

I renewed my Wildcard on my last trip in December/January. This happened at Lower Sabie camp when booking in.

I was told to update my details with Sanparks and I think I was given a form. :hmz: Well, long story short, I forgot and the form, if it existed, exists no more.

Will they have some record of my payment? How can I prove that I paid?

I am off to Kruger next month and am really not sure what to do.

You have to update your details online but I am not sure you can without your confirmation/receipt. I think you may have to give the Wildcard people a ring :?

MM, do you still have your Wild Card number?

If so please print, complete, scan and then email this form.

I can try to chase it with Wild Card if you PM me your WC number and a contact email address or phone number.

I have an old WC number. Not sure if it is valid anymore due to changing systems. I will go and have a look and see if I can find anymore receipts that might have a number on.

Do ID details no longer help?

Your Wild Card number is your Wild Card number, it won't change. You will have been given a renewal number that needs to be linked with your Wild Card, hence the form to fill in. The form will have been the same as the one in the link I posted.

Fill it in and see what happens, they are usually pretty good at responding. If you PM me your details I'll try to get someone to look into it.

You won't be the first (or last) person this has happened to

Saraf,
So I should have the same wildcard number now that I had when in the old system before October 2010? I have been trying to decide how to go about getting a new card, should I attempt to renew or get a new International card? my old card still had 8 months on it when the system changed, I updated info, but never heard anything and didn't get a replacement card. Any help will be appreciated! :)

I don't think the numbers from the old cards moved over to the new system. I didn't bother, I just threw my old card away and bought another one for my trip in Jan 2011. I never actually managed to update the detail on that card so I'm just going to buy a new one before I go in Nov.
