Advice for travelling if the card fails to arrive on time

Unread postby Coluccini » Thu Sep 26, 2013 4:33 pm

Hi!
I've bought an International WildCard 3 months ago, and a few minutes ago I received and email saying that the card was already mailed and that the expected delivery time is 14 days. I'll be travelling in 7 days, so...

I've already printed the confirmation email, there is any other thing I should print or bring to ensure not having to pay access to the parks?

Thanks!

I'm sure you will be fine with the conformation letter and your ID or passport

Agreed.

I did exactly that last year, and the staff both at Malelane Gate (where we entered the park) and Croc Bridge Camp (where we were staying) could not have been more helpful.

There was absolutely no problem at all. Just have your letter and passport.

Hope that you have a wonderful trip.

I was in the same boat and my letter/receipt and passport were more than enough, and we stayed at several camps and entered/exited multiple gates.

Thanks a lot! I'm more relaxed about this issue after reading all your answers. We are going to be visiting a few different parks and I really didn't want to pay again.
I guess this answer also applies to KZN parks, am I right?
Thanks!

It does, but please note that not all KZN parks are involved in the Wild Card scheme.
