saraf thanks for the information, it is as it should be a simple operation and none of this calling call centre updating details and linking numbers. well done parks for sorting out this and I sincerly hope it all goes well for you.

I called SANParks yesterday and they informed me that our Wildcard was posted via registered post on the 22 December 2011, so here's to hoping it arrives sometime soon

What to do?

We visited KNP in August 2011, paid for our Wild Card, but haven't received it yet.

Planning on going there for the cricket, would like to have my card before then.

Pinki, you should phone0861469453 and get them to check all your details - correct spelling of name, phone number, email address etc. When that has been done, ask how long the card will take. Ifthey tell you it will take another three or four months, explain that you are going into Kruger in March and ask them to send you a Wild Letter. The staff on the entrance gates are quite used to accepting these Wild Letters in lieu of the card. It will have your number and renewal date on it. They should be able to email it to you. Ask to speak to Xolela Magazi, he is very patient, thorough and organised. Good luck!

Went to my post box today and saw i have some registered post waiting for me to be collected. Could it be my wild card? I really hope so!!!!!

I followed the great tip I read in this topic: send an email to hein.grobler@sanparks.org. :thumbs_up:

I received a reply only 14 minutes later from the PA for Hein Grobler, Marietjie Smith, assuring me that the card (which I bought online on Dec. 6th) will be mailed next week and that I can use the confirmationletter instead.

I paid for a wild card at Crocodile Bridge in August 2011 but haven't received it in the post yet.

Could I just enter the park with the receipt when I go again in April or who do I need to contact to rectify the situation?

The receipt should be sufficient to gain entry.

To get your card you need to make sure that after buying your card in the park, you have to go online to update your details. Please have at look at this post.

Next, check your post box. Cards are being sent out via registered mail and a number of them are being returned unclaimed.

Finally you can email SANParks, you'll find the address under the Contact Us link on this page. Or use the email address that margriet used, above.
