When we met some yellow ribbons in the Krugepark December, every one introduced themselves on their forum names. We still do not know their real names but at least now we know whether they are male or female. Funny thing is, it really doesn't matter. I do not have any desire knowing their real names. Just glad that I met them. But I am going to take a chance and give my real name. Just wonder if any one will be able to pronounce it correctly...

My forum name was my old callsign.

I was also astonished to see in KNP over December the YR's sexes. It was a scream, really!
The wonder of it is, that as long as you converse via Forums, you don't know whom you're dealing with bar a person here or there. That keeps things cool.

There is another answer to using aliasses too: work!

If you could look at the statistics you would see that an enormous amount of people log in via work. Not something you want the boss to know...



Chose my name as SO signed on in his own name and then discovered most people had alias'. Also skilpads are a favourite of mine, I'm constantly holding up traffic in the park to allow them safe crossings on the roads!
