Photos of Reflections

Unread postby Caracal » Mon Dec 07, 2009 1:50 pm

I enjoy taking photos of reflections…these photos have already appeared in my trip reports so apologies to those that have already read the reports and seen the photos.

I guess taking photos of animal’s reflections at the waterhole or in a rain puddle is the easiest.

Image

Some reflections happen with out you realizing it

Image

I have tried time and time again to recapture the reflection of our vehicle in an animal’s eye but it has never worked as well as the one above.

And some reflections just jump right out at you.

Image

Any more photos of reflections out there ?????

Remember to keep your eye on your side mirror for reflections

Image

Unfortunately for me the side mirror on the passenger side is taken off when we are in the park because it is huge and obstructs my view somewhat...but I keep my eye on it en route !

Let us permit nature to have her way. She understands her business better than we do.

I'd crop the photo of the egret and stork. There are some distracting elements near the top edge of the photo. I'd crop from just above and to the right of the stork's head. Leave the bottom and left of the photo as-is.
