I leave for Africa this Tuesday to save the small nation of Nambabwe from marauding rebels

Not quite, I am coming to beautiful South Africa and will be visiting Golden Gate and Addo as I make my way from Durban to Port Elizabeth. I am looking forward to it immensely! I currently live in Australia, but grew up in Zimbabwe and this return to Africa has been a long time coming. I have missed the bush terribly.

My main aims are:
- to immerse myself entirely in the bush experience. The sights, smells, sounds, dust, rain, trees, grasses, insects, birds, reptiles and mammals. Everything!
- to find a flightless dung beetle in Addo
- to procure a copy of Panic Mechanic with Leon Schuster – my favourite movie as a child. HiJack (see here)
- to brush up on my southern African slang. e.g. "Howzit my china did you scheme the elephants tuning grief with the lions at Hapoor?"

Hopefully it will not be in a situation like this




Its not KNP or KTP but I would like to share my visit to these great Sanpark’s with you guys. I hope you enjoy as I'm sure I certainly will.
