Day #3 Friday 28th August – Berg en dal
An early start, to a long day. Raymond took us to his community of Justica, which is out through the Paul Kruger Gate. This meant potential excellent sightings from Berg en dal & Paul Kruger Gate. Sometimes hopes do not live up to their promise.
We visited 3 pre-schools & a primary school. We also watched some cultural singing & dancing. Before we left Australia, we posted a box of small gifts to distribute during our community visit. We are now 11kg lighter.

It was an excellent visit, and a great way of teaching gudge(Cameron) & Brook, the privileges they take for granted back home in their schooling & daily life. Thanks Raymond for an excellent & sobering experience.
Then it was back into the park, and a late bite to eat at Skukuza. We had no sooner seated ourselves, when we were approached by a “stranger”. We were taught, and our children have been taught, never trust a stranger. This “stranger” walked up and said, “hello Lorraine & David”. We were lost for words, and even who it might be. LP finally guessed who it was.
Robert T. He was waiting for the other BUFF suspects.
We left Skukuza to check a sighting on the H1-2, not far from the camp. At the 4 ways outside Skukuza gate, we spotted yellow & red ribbons. None other than the infamous
Martie G. 2 new forumites in a short time. We then checked the sighting, and continued our sightings drive back to Berg en dal.
