Hi guys, another bit of help please,
looked through the books but still can't decide what this is, I am thinking some sort of Lark, maybe Sabota?
Seen in Kruger this last March.

Dusky Lark

Unread postby JacoPietersen » Sun Jun 07, 2009 11:35 am

Is this a Dusky Lark?
Saw him near Mopani (KNP) mid April. The photo quality is not that great, had to zoom in quite a distance.
As far as I can find out Dusky Larks are summer visitors so, is it not a bit late in the year to see this little guy?
If not please help me identify.

Looks like Dusky Lark to me. My book says they are present December to May, so is within the time. We saw them in March in the Letaba area too - pretty little bird.

I am guessing Dusky Lark but not sure?

 Dusky Lark - always nice to see them, not a common bird.

It looks to me like a dusky lark, SC, but it would help to know where and when you saw it?
