Crombec, I'm guessing Long-billed? Where did you see it?

At the Matambeni hide. And I suspect you are right. The picture in Newman is darker on top - but Roberts is nearer my picture. So thanks.

Long billed crombec. Have seen plenty of them in Satara, Berg-en-dal and on the bushman's trail in recent years. Very odd looking bird without the tail.

You're bird looks a little strange :D maybe it's the lighting..........These Crombecs are classified as Rare in WSBG :clap: :clap: great sighting!

Please help a novice on what these birds are. Both in Kruger during August.

This one is a Longbilled Crombec, easy to recognize because it has no tail.

Thanks Jen. I have many other photos that need ID's, so I hope I will not be seen to be too stupid. Clearly I need a new set of books :doh:
