Lepidochrysops balli I was actually looking for balli as I remembered it from way back and thought that balli with reference to being old was quite funny but I think it's common name is better (reversed).

Please tell me I am right, before I bash my head in with fustration.

Does anybody know how I can load photos from my computer to the forum if they don't have a url?

You have to load to somewhere on the internet, so they have to have a URL. SANParks don't have space on their servers to host the photos.

It will be excellent when they do get that capability, but currently they don't.

So no, you can't load directly from your PC to the forum.

I've seen this butterfly, but cannot remember it ... I need to get a more advanced butterfly book.

Can someone else please post as RJ is away with his head buried in knowledge? He can give us the answer to his last question when he returns.

Anyone wish to post ... or don't butterflies appeal much to the nature enthusiast any more?

OWN, there's a difference between appeal to and have knowledge of ... They're beautiful, and that's what I know about them

Point taken, bishop. However, how do we gain knowledge except by reading and researching ... I've learnt a lot already about butterflies from this quiz, and my knowledge indeed is poor regarding these gorgeous creatures. So, we'll wait and see what transpires. Maybe I'll even post, if I can think up a simple question?
