When asking for an ID

Unread postby Imberbe » Tue Feb 12, 2008 10:58 pm

When you ask for an identification of an unknown species, please give as much info as possible.

Do not just post a photo!

Where did you see this animal? (National Park, area of the country.)
In what habitat was it? (Rocks, sand, tree, mountainous, etc.)
What size was it approx.?
Was it alone?
What was it doing?
What time of year / season was it?

Anything that can help with an id!
Imberbe = Combretum imberbe = Leadwood = Hardekool = The spirit of the Wildernis!
