Animals galore drinking!

Big herds of zebra, wildebeest, impala and even a warthog family from 8:30 till 9:00

Were those lions on the cam just now?!

i am going to hazard a guess..without seeing complete bird.
In the past on previous Orpen Cam we have quite often seena Giant Eagle Owl on the cam. Saw it landing and taking off years ago. Perhaps that is what this was.
And as you can see from my post..those were three lions on cam live.

Thanks Elaine - I was looking at something else and just flicked back to the webcam. As soon as I saw something on there, I saved the pic. By the time I'd done this the cam had refreshed so I didn't get much chance to assess what it was. Pic clearly shows lion! You may be right about the owl - it was swooping in to land on the tree the webcam is mounted on, but was a bit blurred. I've submitted the pics, so maybe Danie will be able to clarify!

up to 9th at 01h26 thus far. it is now 01h52 and also saw the wingtip of owl on right edge of cam again at 01h43! And the little jackal was again on earlier soon after the first owl sighting on cam.

Buffulo on Cam now

Wildebeest babies on cam just before 08h54

saw three at one time...
with quite a few wildie babies who are still there and here come more buffalo to wallow. and an impala just entered picture also.

on cam for many shots. Sending pics for your confirmation , Danie . A few shots are closer to cam..easy to see some coloring on them.
