Have any forumites actually got out of their vehicles and climbed this koppie? I have been to the parking area on more than one occasion, but I am too much of a "banggat" (coward) to walk the path up the koppie. Don't know what is lying and waiting for me behind the rocks.

This road gives you that feeling that there could be anything around the corner 8)
And in Feb, the most unlikely suspect was lying in the road for me

I love this place and often get out of my vehicle. I stopped once with Moose, but often go alone.

I do believe that the spirit of James Stevenson Hamilton touches the ground with his spirit of bush love.

I was looking for a picture to post, but sadly my computer was stolen last year with all my saved pictures. The flower was taken when I went with Moose.

I am going to be there in 2 weeks and will take a couple of pics.
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

Yes, I have. If nothing else, koppies tend to have interesting flora. I don't worry about what's behind rocks.

:hmz: :hmz: Brave man! I don't like bumping into mambas, cobras, lions & leopards. That is why the rangers walk with their :sniper:
