i have put two public accessible albums on my Clubphoto site so all can view Orpen pics of ellie breeding herd from earlier today and a second album for previous days with best of sightings that i saw live on your Orpen cam.
when you click on this URL (or copy and paste into Browser address bar

http://members3.clubphoto.com/elainec24 ... st-1.phtml

scroll down page to view both albums marked Kruger. Click on album to open and reveal thumbnails. Click on thumbnails or upper right corner to "View larger images" All my albums are open to the public if anyone cares to view them .

Danie, i have marked these as copyrighted to sanparks' website? Is this satisfactory? If not, please tell me.

Twice while i was uploading albums, ellies appeared on cam, so i added those shots to the album after saving them.
Enjoy.
Elaine/USA

The elephants are still popping in and out at 00:10 SAST 30/12/04, but no sign of little ones.

I love the photos you have posted on the website, Elaine!

i was told some time back..that when you see only one ellie or even a group of 4 or 5 , that they are most likely bulls/males. Group consisting of older ones and juvie males. But the herds are all female except for the younger males not chased from the herd as yet by the females and matriarch. Sorry, i don't know at what age that happens? Is it 6 or 7 years old when they mature?
I saw that the ellies are still making one-shot appearances. lol Hopefully this will go on all night, which is great for USA viewers!!
thanks, Chris
regards,
Elaine

Filling up the waterhole has certainly brought the animals out! Elephants were here at around midnight SAST and now there are wildebeest and impala at 5:43 a.m. SAST. Good to see.

Dear Elaine
Thanks to you and Yvo/SE we have the beautiful images of the ellies visiting Orpen. The images with the moon rising in the background are amazing!

(If reference to our website and copyright SANParks are mentioned on your personal image page, it is fine!)

A facility should be available next week on our website for highlights of Orpen webcam images. Watch this space!

Thanks for your dedication!

These sightings were recorded for that period.
