Just like to know if any1 has had any interesting sightings on this road like lions or leopard or big5 in general.

Drove this road in mid Jan & found the grass very high. Did not see much except impala. Terrain is unlike most of the southern kruger but really enjoyed this road nonetheless.

However i do believe that its a good road to see sable & tssebbe.

Any comments, pics..

Saw this on the loop.

Also seen buffalo and rhino on this road as well. Very good spot to find kudu and I've heard that it's a good spot for 747 or gorgeous bushshrike.

Hi Donny,

Did the roads around Pretoriuskop back in July 2006. We had a fabulous experience, as it is a very relxed camp and has a special atmosphere. All I can say is, we did manage to spot the big 5 around Pretoriuskop, but just dont have high expectations, and maybe you will be proved lucky. Have a look at the restaurant, its outstanding (atleast it breakfast  )

We did see a few Rhinos and 13 Sable in the area. The real treasure of the Pretoriuskop area are the rare antelope species of southern Kruger. Its all about being at the right time at the right place (ESPECIALLY in this area).

The area is very scenic, which often makes up for less sightings

ENJOY :D

Back to reality...

Saw a hyena on top of the rocks one early morning!

Always a very pleasant area, with the chance of seeing rare antelope.

Predators few and far between, I'm afraid!

Hi guys,

Just got back from a three day visit to the park. We had 12 wilddogs to ourselves for 45mins on the Fayi loop 2km from pretoriuskop at 05:30am.

Not a bad loop after all
