And so we came to the end again, our longest stay in the park to date (12 nights) and yet it was gone in a flash! We had some great sightings and were sad to leave.

When I look back at our journey now I wish I had gotten up earlier sometimes, driven further sometimes but hey we’ll be back next year :D

I will leave you with a compilation of my favourite rhino sightings, on our very last day in the park we were privileged to find 17 different rhinos, feels like somebody was sending a message....

@Len

Hereby a reply from the SO concerning the camera, or rather cameras I should say. Andrea used my old super zoom camera, the Panasonic DM-FZ50. This camera is a few years old now and has an optical zoom of only 12x, The zoom is manual and because of that you can very quickly make good shots. Another great advantage is the Leica lenses Panasonic use.
Mine is the Panasonic DMC-FZ200. Bought it for this trip. Equivalent to 600mm (24x) what made it the perfect camera for a trip to Kruger. Again, great Leica lens set with F2.8 throughout the complete zoom range and perfect stabiliser.
The choice (this time) not to buy DSLR is size, weight and price (Have a look what 600mm costs :slap: ).
