A natural waterhole , pic taken recently , the area had good rain , the vegetation is very lush & green ...
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Near Shingwedzi? :hmz:

Very interesting stump that :) But never seen it , but taking into consideration with no rhino around , then probably north of Letaba river maybe around Twisappel or Middelvlei :hmz:

Ndloti - I think I saw it near the first waterhole after turning left onto the loop leaving Punda Maria camp, but again I am not sure. Not sure of the name of the WH nearby. I think you can tell us now and then pose another interesting 'Where in Kruger" question. I am enjoying this quiz and in future will take more notice of the landscape.

Correct Delene , my 1993 sponsored by Volkskas Make The Most Of Kruger map book does not show a name , but it is on the left side of the road on a gradient when travelling anti clockwise on the Mahonie loop (leaving Punda camp and turning left)

I should give someone else a turn at posting a photo ...
