I managed to get both fish eagle and kingfisher in one frame.

Malachite kingfishers are my favourite bird - and you got a superb sighting, Jan :cam: .
Those little ones could really make some noise.

Jan, nice action shot of the heron. :cam:

A year or two ago the water level was relatively low with piece of land appearing and this croc was showing off with us in the hide guessing how many teeth he got. Knarsus! - do you still remember :hmz:

Shame...these giants are cute in their own way. Great image, Jan. :thumbs_up:

Then there are these guys - terrapins. A lesson one can learn from a tortoise or a terrapin for that matter is 'that one will only move forward if you stick your neck out'.... :hmz:

I have observed that the Jacana and the Blake crakes are also not very fond of one another as there are occassional battles...here is "the family" busy looking for food...
