True or False: A weaver species can be determined simply by looking at the construction geometry of its nest?

Both  for the answer and  for the question, Rooies.

Penguins will only fall backwards when looking at airplanes if they were in free fall; and since penguins very seldom get to fly at 30000 feet, this is almost always (tending-towards-infinity-almost-always) a myth. There seems to be a greater chance that the sun will expand beyond the earth's orbit than penguins performing such a feat (unless some scientist chucks them out of an airplane to prove a point), so - though I'm temped to form a discursive essay here - due to lack of suitable double-blind studies, I'll sadly have to stick with my original gut-feel that this is a myth.

Jislaaik OWN, I will have to phone a friend to translate 'al daardie hogere Ingels' From the 'bietjie' I understand, you intend chucking a penguin out of a Boeing and send it on an orbit around the earth with a stick in his gut.

But, have you ever seen a penguin walking backwards? They have no toes facing backwards so how does the poor penguin balance itself when he follows a plane flying over?

True. Each kind of weaver has a different kind of nest.

Fact or Myth: A solid object is made up far more space and nothingness than actual matter?

OWN, This depends on what type of matter the solid object is made from, or should I say it depends on how big the solid object is. But taking the general microscopic properties of matter into account the space of nothingness you refer to must be the spaces between the Nucleus and Electrons of the actual Atoms. Since Atoms are like little solar systems and the space of nothingness is bigger than the actual Nucleus and Electrons the statement is indeed a FACT. It is the forces between these interatomic particles that make an object seem solid.

The statement that by cutting the space between two objects in half and continuing to do so, the two objects will never actually touch is also true. But the two objects will get close enough to one another for all practical purposes.....
