Thank you for all your lovely comments hilda, Trrp-trrrrrrrr, anne-marie, yoda, Foxy, Lionspoon, Sky, melph68, Pumbaa Timbits, billyf

@Lionspoon - I use a canon 100-400 lens on a 7D camera and this works fine for me. I can hand hold it. In camps, Duke will set up the canon 500 lens, which I cannot handhold. Below picture from our November trip in Urikaruus where I had fun taking pics of the baby ostriches.

That afternoon we decide to drive south and it is quiet.

Nothing at Gemsbokplein. We turn around to head back to Urikaruus, wait a minute, you were not there a few minutes ago   :D
Surely we could not have missed you :hmz: barely 5 minutes ago.

Beautiful Miera must have been sleeping in the tree and came down while we were turning

Image

There was no spoor on the road so she did not come that way and we would have seen her in the riverbed, just shows.

And she posed for us, unlike Tsamma

Got up and had a scratch

and went into the riverbed and away

We started the day with an AWC and a leopard and ended the day with a leopard :D

Tomorrow morning we start the day with a spotted cat again

'tis the season of spotted cats
