Okay - here's another one:

A depressed man on the 23rd story of a high-rise building finally gives up the ghost and jumps through the open window. However, without anything to cushion his fall, he gets up without a single fracture and walks away (albeit it still sad). How does he manage to survive?

Because he suffered from depression, he also lost considerable weight. It happened to be that hurricane Sandy was hitting his city and when he jumped out, the wind blew him straight back. (I know that for a change, I have this one right, OWN.)

Rooies, Okie ...   This is what happens when dealing with such intelligent, lateral-thinking mites - they find creative solutions that cannot be denied. :D Not the answer I was looking for, but I cannot fault either of you (although, Rooies, I would say that few insurance companies would back you on your story   ).

The explanation I was thinking of is that he is a window-washer who jumped inwards.

Anyone with another mind-teaser?

The CEO of a company, pops by his office, to pick up some documents he needs to take to an important meeting. He is flying to the meeting on the 3am early morning flight. As he is exiting the parking lot from his office building, the night security officer desperately flags him down. The officer explains, begs and pleads with the CEO not to take his scheduled flight. He explains he had a dream that very night of the plane going down and there are no survivors.
The CEO argues and debates with the pleading security officer which of course leads to a delay, causing him to arrive at the airport late – missing his flight.
The CEO learns that his missed flight indeed did go down – no survivors. When he returns to his office he thanks the security officer most sincerely, pays him a large amount of money to show his appreciation, apologies for not believing him and then FIRES  him!!! Why?

The CEO works for the airports company and the security guard not being at his post cause the terrorist to sneak in and plant a bomb on the plane.

I don't know - I daydream a lot at work at night, and my eyes are open all the while. Maybe the night guard had his dream while wide awake. :hmz:

Then again, perhaps the CEO decided to open his own company - having been given a lease on life - and fired the security guy so that he could employ him as a nocturnal sage, using his premonitions to protect the CEO from all future plane crashes.

Despite all this, I think Okie is right. NetEk

The CEO's other reason was because he had missed his flight .
Reason was because his wife was also going with him on the same flight , and he was mad at the nightguard for making him miss the opportunity to get rid of his wife

The person who buys this never uses it. The person who makes this, sells it. The person who uses it doesn't know she or he is. What is it?
