Hi RichardJ, a programme will be posted nearer to the time. But for short, Thursday night "meet and greet" braai, Friday and Saturday cricket matches and Saturday evening the Gala event and price giving.

Remember to bring some big umbrellas and your own folding chairs, as apparently I heard there is only dunes and no trees to hide from the sun

RichardJ - arrangements are still being finalised, but briefly this is what should happen over the weekend:

Everyone to arrive on Thursday 14 March and there will be a casual evening event in TR camp. Probably a bring and braai or similar.

The cricket matches will be played over two days, the Friday and Saturday - due to the heat. These will be played on the pitch at Welkom school 10km south of TR camp. Concurrent activities for children are planned (jumping castle for eg) and also stalls around the field etc.

There will be another evening event on the Friday evening and a Gala Event on the Saturday evening, which will be slightly more formal.

If you would like to get involved in playing cricket, please let Scipio know. Or/and your family that might be travelling with you.

I won't be able to come this year

My son & his wife arrive from UK on that weekend....but we will be in 2R on the Monday after, so those of you 'recovering' there look out for the fire engine.
