Leopard doens't like what he sees in the mirror - 25 December 2012

This video is of a leopard looking at his reflection in a black car. He thinks it's another leopard so he starts to hiss at the mirror like car and scratch the car.
This is really rare and unique footage!

It was taken on the H1-2 N of skukuza in the Kruger National Park in South Africa

These are my latest 2 Leopards seen in Feb this year.

Leopard loves vehicle

Unread postby africawildlife.nl » Tue May 21, 2013 10:31 pm

On the first of May 2013 we were on the H1-3 driving from Tshokwane to Satara. It must have been around 8.30 am when we found a remarkable leopard. The leopard was very interested in a Fiat Punto. Ehm.. Strange? Well, watch the movie and find out yourself.

What do you guys think? What caused the behaviour of the leopard? Was it just seeing its own reflection?

Leopards are inquisitive animals, especially young ones. Maybe the sun glinted on the mirror and it was investigating?

Leopards will also roll in animal dung.....maybe the car had been driven through some dung on the road which had sprayed up from the wheels on the side door and rear of car and this was interesting to the leopard.
Smiling is contagious. Start an epidemic today!

Have you read the entrance permit? Do you KNOW the Conditions of Entry?

Completed over 6 years in Kruger in my caravan.
