On my Nov/Dec trip to Bots and Caprivi, I added 62 lifers (and quite a few second timers) to take me to 554

Among the lifers were brubru, Arnott's & boulder chat, 4 cisticolas, 4 coucals, wattled crane, my bogey bird the red chested cuckoo at last Joh, 2 eagles, slaty egret, 2 firefinches, fairy flycatcher, OR francolin, pygmy goose, bat hawk, Bradfield's & trumpeter hornbill, lesser jacana, grey headed & half collared kingfisher, 2 larks, another elusive being the bronze mannikin, wood owl, collared palmthrush, 2 pipits, 3 pratincoles, broad billed roller, Souza's shrike, sharp tailed starling, collared, copper & Shelley's sunbird, 2 swallows, Layard's titbabbler, Schalow's turaco, 3 warblers, and golden weaver.
Whatever (according to BB): "You are correct but I don't want to admit it".

Wow Bush Baptist - some amazing birds you got. Sounds like an incredible trip :D Just read your TR and am so jealous.

I only managed to add 2 more during the last month or so: Collared Flycatcher and Bennett's Woodpecker.

Now on 492 - 2013 target will be 520 with a lot of luck :D
Latest Lifers: Red Lark, Barlow's Lark, Sclater's Lark

Thanks TrevorC. it was a great trip. One I have been wanting to do for 5 years.

To all Stiffnecks, and all of you who contribute here qualify, maybe you would like something to identify you with us. Check here for caps, beanies, scarves etc. Yes? then send me a PM.
