I have just heard that the S25 access to the Biyamiti road is closed at the Biyamiti river as the bridge has collapsed. Could someone please confirm whether this is in fact the case as we are booked into Biyamiti on Tuesday 8th January 2013? I have received the normal sms from Sanparks prior to a booking but there was no information pertaining to this road closure!

Hi Penny :)

Happy 2013 to you and your family :gflower:

I have just received info from Kruger that the road is accessible. No heavy rains have been experienced lately. This is the situation with regards to S25 between Biyamiti and Croc Bridge. During the floods in January 2012, the bridge collapsed and we made a temporary gravel road to allow people to pass. It is not yet back to how it was but it is accessible.

Thanks Lesego - lets hope no cyclones heading that way like we experienced in the Park in January 2012!
