I shot this guy on the upper dune road in December at 09:25am. We were quite surprised to see a Brownie at that time of the day.

There is a den about 1km south of the Urikaruus turnoff where we saw this family unit on a daily basis. It looks as if the mom is giving the little guy a talking to.

We found 3 Brownies at the Waterhole and as describe in Guss book they didn't drink together and wait their turn.

This one finish and look back at the other two before moving away.

we spotted this one while drving out of the polenswa camp...he was heading to the waterhole so we went and sat there for +- 10min waiting for him to come and drink..

Such awesome photographs everybody. I do believe that the clan from den just south of Urikaruus have moved further south to Kamqua..directly opposite the waterhole. We did not see one hyena near or at Urikaruus during our 3 day stay there....29-31 Dec. Plenty of hyena action around Kamqua though.

We also saw hyenas at Kamsferboom...we enjoyed watching them wallow in the water.....
