Addo, Matyholweni (15.10.2012) numéro 4 et 5…

and the rain begins to fall ... it does not leave us :? ... alsmost
It rained "only" once ... all day

A long road ahead before arriving at Addo, punctuated by stops, it's crazy what there is ... things to see along the way

We spend some good memories back when George and Port Elizabeth are in sight ...
YEY, we'll get to.
The formalities done, we carry our belongings in our respective rooms, Nr 4 and 5. Beautiful, beautiful chalet, terrace impracticable because of the rain and immediately, off again for the game of the afternoon

We have traveled a lot of roads in the south of the park and we promise to go the rest tomorrow. We must anyway going to the Main Camp for the check in for our next nights

We are lucky ... even in the rain, we find some nice observations I particularly remember this African Stonechat, beak filled, a Jackal in a hurry, a warthog ... with big mustaches like that!, babies, Red hartebeests and Elands, Zebras, Kudus and plenty of new birds  ... all very wet

Addo, Spekboom tented camp (16.10.2102) nr 1 et 2

Great night, well deserved after all these km and the difficulty of discovering new animals and birds, with the continue rain

Maybe we'll have some sunshine :hmz: there were one or two rays ...

We traveled almost all the roads in the south of the park, have picnics at Jack's picnic site, fenced. We can see the reflection of the shelter in the eye of the mouse, mices that we have around, and on the feet ...

And we went to get the key of Spekboom tented camp
Considering the time, we decided to eat a plate at the restaurant in the Main camp instead of the braai that we wanted to do at night ... in the rain ... a picnic will be better, ... in the humidity
The menu was very good, we regaled us

Unloading was not easy, the path to the tents is very narrow, but cons, there are no stairs ... the toilets/ showers/kitchen are at the end of this winding road, as well as the hide
It rained so much that nobody came to the point of water, I mean no pets :?

Fortunately I had already slept in small tents like that ... I do not know how I would have liked "isolation". I like being alone, but knowing that there is a tent, a cabin not too far ... comfort me
I don't like the night, I may still be eventually persuade me
No sound other than the night  and wind that moves the tent, a few scares  but fortunately I am very tired and fall asleep quickly.
The morning is the race to the bathroom... at the other end of the camp
