Thank you for your explanation Scouter. :D
That sounds delicious.
If it is possible to get such a delicious vetkoeke with a vegetarian filling, I am in for it.
The only problem is: I have to wait till October :(

KG is going to have to watch his weight - I fear this might be too tempting for him with the takeaway kitchen so close to his office!!

We ate there twice and can not complain! :D Generous portions - the Curry Vetkoek I had the second time, was supposed to be the smallest one of the lot, and I had trouble finishing it! Definitely a nice addition to Twee Rivieren.

I´m sorry to go back to the bats inside chalets issue but I would like to know, if possible, if bats only go inside chalets during the summer months, or if it can happen al year round, my concern would be during April or August.

judik :D :D - try "vet" as in FETA cheese and "koek" as in cook or cuckoo ... It'll be near enough ... and I promise you wont regret it one bit :thumbs_up:

Thanks anne-marie and Guinea Pig, it´s good to know your experiences in that, m not really planning a trip to Kgalagadi since this year I´ll go elsewhere but I would like to go there, if possible in 2014, but when I start planning it I must be sure (as possible9 in what concerns that issue.

Maybe Kgalagadi Guru can say something else about bats in April and August.

@pedro maia,

It would be impossible to say now if there will be bats or not, although being on the cold side the chances are that there might not be. Bats just form part of the Ecosystem and here we just have to live with it, they do keep the mozzies away.

Thanks, I know it´s not possible to say what will happen, I only wanted to check the odds.

I also understand bats form part of the ecosystem and I like bats, but not inside :wink:
