Hello to you all. Does anyone know if supermarkets will be open on Easter monday?

Most of them are open although some may close at 13h00. The 'Spar' shop are open till 20h00. The shops also put up a notice with there trading ours, especially during long weekends and school holidays. If the shops are close to the normal holiday destinations, they will be open later than usual (They know that the holiday makers have some extra cash to spend and they don't want to miss out on the bonanza)

They all should be. It could depend on which province you will be visiting, but it is only really Christmas Day and Good Friday in SA that shops close. Liquor stores depend on the province. Some are open on Sundays, others not. But I think all are open on public holidays apart from the two I mentioned.

We will be in kwazulu natal , between Ithala and Hluhluwe...

Your best bet would be to look for the Nongoma shopping centre in Nongoma, which is situated between Itala and Hluhluwe, where there is a Spar. You will be able to buy the basics there.

We'll indeed do that.
I've seen a shopping center there on google maps. Looks safer(Shoprite)
