Thanks for all the sightings that have been posted recently. Its great to see that the leopards are coming out of the wood work again.
@Gavin, still can't match your second leopard to any of the currently known ones....so start thinking of a suitable name :)

@AFRICAT - great sighitng of Safran, thanks for posting...more about your sighting later

@Wanderw - having just got back from the park myself and after meeting various forumites (Arks, Katya, Enrico) i'd heard of some of these sightings but not all, thanks for the info, after all every bit helps.

@Jo - Really pleased so say that you have the second sighting of Nkwe! Will be in contact as i don't have very good pics of him  yet.

@Anne-Marie, your wish came true, you did see Safran at Lijersdraai  , i also can't help thinking that she looks really pregnant in your pics and not in AFRICATS!...also given Wanderws info it seems highly likely that the mum and cub is Safran and a new addition :D  Hopefully someone will get some pics of the cub
Your sightings of Miera are all correct, i also happened to see her recently at Montrose on the 11th November, will post some pics of her dashing up a tree away from some lions.

Thanks everyone of the sightings, if i could also ask that they are sent to me using my spreadsheet it would really making the recond keeping a lot easier. Thanks

 to everybody and thank you

:hmz: sorry, you would like some pictures using your spreadsheet (?!?)... I speak more Leopard than English  I will try, but only Safran, the others one are too far away (and enough photo)

@Jo and anne-marie - Thanx for posting! :gflower:

@Jo - Super to see Nkwe again. Will be interesting to plot his range, so hoping for more sightings of him.

@anne-marie - Lovely sighting of Safran. I agree with AstroMatt - she does look very pregnant. Great that you saw her again! Also, you were lucky with all the sightings of Miera - again a very interesting sighting with the hyena and kill.

@AstroMatt - Welcome back and thanx for the info.

Here is a photo of Barolong and her two beautiful cubs, taken on 26th October, 4kms south of Urikaruus.

So here are a few sightings to report.
The first is a sighting that Enrico had on 26th October 2kms north of the upper dune road intersection. He has allowed me to post his photos for him.

This cub is the same as one of the cubs posted by lion queen on the 2nd October (page 42). They are Barolongs current litter (mentioned by Wanderw earlier). So as i write this jacliz has provided the family portrait....what a pic   These two sightings were at the same location.

So my own sighting was on the 11th November at Montrose, at about 7am.
We came across Miera lying in a tree at the side of the road. She proceeded to come down and cross in front of us heading up the calcrite ridge. She then reappeared at the water hole only to be chased up a tree by a couple of huge lions (the recently collared boys!). After a 30min wait she decide to come down and make a dash for it again crossing in front of us!

Thanks for posting those pics jacliz, they certainly should be seen by everyone.

You are right Anne-marie, they are the same family. When Enrico saw the cub he could only see one of them. When Jacliz returned to the place Enrico saw the cub there were 3 leopards!! Just goes to show that you have to be patient. As i also mentioned they were spotted at pretty much the same spot by Lion Queen on the 27th September 2012. It would be nice if some one has a sighting before that so we could narrow the age down
