Here are the answers to Sky #6

1) This is a lark like bunting and the black on the neck confused almost everyone even some of the mites on
the bird id challenge

This is what Johan van Rensburg had to say
ID points: Two-tone bill of elongated shape – longer and shallower in profile than canary
Facial pattern
Tan/brown breast and belly
The yellow gape is an indication that this is still a young bird






The rest were all id'd correctly

2) Three banded Plover


3) Familiar chat


4) Malachite Kingfisher


5) Pale winged starling
The colour of the eye alone should have given the id away



6) Orange River White eye


The next bird was seen in KTP

7) Kalahari Scrub Robin


The next birds were all taken at Marievale


9 ) Common Moorhen


10) African Stonechat



And a bonus bird Taken at Marievale

11) Lesser Swamp Warbler

I translated the Afrikaans name
and of course that wasn't the name

Got the bonus correct aswell took some searching.

Also got 10/10 plus bonus on first attempt.
