Morning all.

Does anyone have info on the male lion with seriously injured back leg - at Cubitjie Quap waterhole this week?

since I've just recently asked Jan the same question (regarding some cubs I spotted in Kruger who looked similiar in size) I would (with his answer in mind) guess that they are much closer to 3-4 weeks than to 3-4 months - remember, according to Smithers lion weaning starts after 10 weeks - and these cubs look way too small to be able to eat meat, in fact, these guys may still be in their teething period.

But of course these are just my guesses, I stand to be corrected

Stunning photos Jan. I can see why the last one is your favourite.
Jan, tell me are those scars on the mothers' side? Looks like she was in a serious fight.
