TRAVEL TALES Entertaining, often good fun, interesting and you can learn a lot for your own trip. Had some good sightings because of the things I learnt from other TR's!!
Also like the threads where I can ask for id's of birds, reptiles, plants etc. Usually it never takes long before you get the answers you are looking for

Looks like Travel Tales is coming top of the list?

Travel Tales stands out for me, there are so many Mites who have the most amazing sightings, stories, with incredible photos. Some have great educational value, which allows you to appreciate nature for what it is. Some Mites spend lots of time on their TR which is time consuming. Others are just plain fun, which gives all.... a let your hair down feeling. When thinking of the fast pace and sometimes stressful world we live in, then it could be a great stress reliever for some. (No medicine required. )

Appreciate all topics on the Forum and view and read most threads however do not necessarily comment on all.

The webcams have always been my first love. They are what brought me to the forum. It awes and amazes me that modern technology is such that I can sit at my computer at home and see Mr Handsome at Nossob or some ellies at Orpen, and they are there at the moment that I am watching. It's the next best thing when I can't be there in person.

I also love reading the travel tales, and have had an attempt at writing a couple too, and I love the banter and fun on the GGGG thread.

There is nothing like a travel tale. Every travel tale is different to the next. Every author brings something new to enrich our love for nature! When you read a travel tale, you get the opportunity to get inside someones head and see The Park through their eyes :D This is the magic of a travel tale in my opinion :D

There will always be those who just skim through an episode and just look for the pictures, but then there are those who want to hear every detail about their friend's trip!! And it is great to re-live a trip with your friends :D

Travel Tales, of course! And all the bird topics! And the Mammals! And all the beautiful sunsets and sunrises and beautiful landscapes! In fact, the whole Forum, if only time allows!

I love the Travel Tales and my Sunday afternoon is my reading time and I have spent many lovely hours transported to my most favourite place in the world. As people share their wonderful stories and photos I find myself right there with them, because a lot of the time I know the area so well, that I can picture it in my mind as well as in the lovely photos that the writer shares. Each Travel Tale is different and each one is special and unique.

GGGG is also a personal favourite and I found as a newcomer that I was so welcomed and all the chit chat that has gone on over a period of time has meant that I have made friends with many people that I have never met before. :)

'Where in Kruger Would you Like to be Right Now' is another favourite. To spend time on 'virtual trips' through areas of Kruger sharing wonderful views with those that have taken the time to post their photos.

Camps and Roads is also very interesting..... I guess I am hooked!!
