We have today launched the live Addo streaming webcam!

I am fascinated watching the raindrops appearing on the camera; I don't think anyone from the Eastern Cape would want to see them for a while.

Are their plans to put links on the mobile site? I keep having to go into the regular site to view the live feeds.

Yes indeed there is, along with the fantastic new layout for mobi.

We are not ready for the deployment of this as yet, but will add the live option. Do note however, that it is all entirely device dependent ... ie, iPhone etc might not show it due to flash, but if we can get the HTML5 support working on mobi - its all good.

Oh no, the camera just went zooming past all the buffalo. I so wanted to stop it where they were close to the camera. Quite frustrating but so amazing that I am watching a herd of buffalo at Addo sitting here in front of my PC here in Johannesburg.
