How you? I haven't been on forums of late. Just haven't had the time etc slowly getting more and more active again. Still going to Kruger though haven't slacked that off one bit.

For what it is worth -- last week we travelled the S65 a few times, and found it very productive currently -- a leopard just south of the waterhole hunting impala for 30 min right next to the road, then 3 lionesses walking south from the waterhole for a few km -- they ended up on the left (Eastern side) koppie -- from the pics it seems as if one could be lactacting...
Then 3 more lionesses about 2 km closer to waterhole on same morning.
Following morning a single lioness descended from the other koppie on the opposite side of the road (western side). She was definitely lactacting, and headed down the road for water. We saw her coming down from a gap between the rocks on the northeastern side of the koppie, but left. A few minutes later people saw 2 cubs sitting on the rocks right next to this little gap.

So if you are around PK or Skukuza now, check them out -- you may just be lucky!

Ps. Wild dogs with pups had left den at PKop by then, but we did see 3 adults with 1 pup about 1 km east of the camp in road...
Lions seemed to like Shabeni hill at same time, and relaxed on rocks along the S8 loop 2 days in a row...

These pictures were taken by my daughter many years ago when we took a few days off to go to the Park. It was dangerously close to gate closing time and I found out that day how short half an hour can be.
