Florists usually have some. Or any haberdashery store.

There is a sewing shop in the centre of Phalaborwa that sells ribbon.

I personally don't like the stiff florist ribbon as I find it makes too much noise in the wind.
Rather some soft material or even the yellow rope from an Amarula bottle altho its not really that visible from a distance.
but the brighter the better. :D

Hi All,

During our last trip through KNP I had a brainwave. Now firstly they don't happen often (enough) and secondly never when in KNP.

This was our first trip with a YR attached to the driver side mirror. We had our eyes open to spot similar YR's to meet Forum Members also in the park. Whilst we did see Hilda & Barry Els and Dupacc, we soon realised that a YR can be vastly different.

My brainwave is this:Why not have a Forum Mirror Sock (other names are welcome). Add a piece of Velcro on the outside and then Members can stick there names on it. Firstly it'll be easier to spot that the varying YR's on display and we can also proudly display our Forum Names on it.

We could expand the idea to also have te name of a TR displayed. the world (space permitting) is our oyster.

Hi Riaanf31,

As soon as the Forum Logo is final, we'll start thinking along the lines of producing Forum Mirror socks.

Hi Riaanf31,

This was also the idea that was submitted by Heksie earlier (great minds think alike) . Her proposal resulted in the design of a logo for the forum that is still in process of being finalised.

I think that we will then be able to combine our logo and forum name on some sock of sorts, which could then be proudly displayed on our mirrors :hmz:.

Thanks from my side for the initiative .

LQ, I just punched the submit icon to late  , but here is my input that eco's your line of thinking  .
